The Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago Dinner honors 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshall, Fr. Tom McCarthy OSA and our good friends, the Shannon Rovers, the Guest of Honor of the Parade celebrating their 100th Anniversary.

 The dinner will begin with Cocktails at 6pm, dinner at 7:30pm, Open Bar following dinner as well as Dancing to the Rich Daniels Orchestra.

 Fr. Tom McCarthy OSA is a distinguished teacher, administrator, retreat director and parish mission preacher.  He is a native of the South Side of Chicago, having attended St. Adrian’s and St. Rita of Cascia High School where he now serves as the Director of Community Relations. He is also the Director of the St. Rita of Cascia Shrine in Chicago.

 The Shannon Rovers are celebrating their 100th Anniversary. Since 1926, the Rovers have been a cultural fixture in the Chicagoland area. From parades to politics, weddings to funerals, generation to generation, the Shannon Rovers have been there through it all, bringing the passion of Irish music with them. The Rovers are a fixture at all Irish Fellowship Club events!
