What began in 2025 as an in-store event highlighting women’s friendships and favorite books, very quickly became a standing room only celebration that exceeded expectations; inspiring organizers to expand the festivities to include other businesses throughout the Menomonee Falls downtown
district in 2026.
This year, ep•i•logue Books is partnering with Menomonee Falls businesses to transform the downtown area into a Galentine’s Day destination — with shops and restaurants each adding their own creative spin on honoring friendship, self-care, and community. Throughout downtown, there are more than ten participating shops and restaurants that will host their own specials, pop-ups, tastings, shopping experiences, and themed activities — giving friends the perfect excuse to stroll, shop, sip, and celebrate together. Books, guests can dive into a lineup of bookish fun, ranging from book-inspired speed dating, Blind Dates with
a Book, trivia, Secret Cupid, and exclusive Galentine’s Day swag.

Poppy & Thyme, Chocolate Falls, Rustic Rehabs, Robins Nest, Hop Yard Ale Works, Art Lounge, Gemini
Collections, Hot House Tavern, Just Kiln Time, ep•i•logue Books, American Legion Post #382, Olive Branch.
“Last year we hoped to create something fun and meaningful for our customers, but we didn’t anticipate how
popular the event would be. Almost immediately, we began planning for 2026.” said Michelle Raasch, owner of
ep•i•logue Books. “Galentine’s Day is about celebrating friendship and building community so expanding it
downtown felt like the natural next chapter. We are so excited to have so many of our downtown friends join
in.”
