After 15 incredible years as Managing Partner, I’m stepping into the role of Founding Partner, allowing me to focus on high-impact advocacy, mentoring our growing team, and continuing to champion immigrant founders, international students, and women in business.
I'm thrilled to share that my brother and longtime law partner, Ray McEntee, is taking the reins as Managing Partner! Ray has been instrumental in shaping our firm, especially in the sports and entertainment space, and I know he’ll bring fresh energy and vision to this next chapter.
We are also incredibly excited to welcome James Hollis as our Partner & Head of Sports & Entertainment. Many of you already know James as a top-tier immigration lawyer (and an all-around fantastic human). He’s renowned for his work with entrepreneurs, startups, professionals, major league sports clubs, and talent across the arts and entertainment industries. James will also be leading our new Memphis office!
And that’s not all - we are thrilled to have Irene Lee joining us as Senior Attorney. Irene brings extensive experience advising tech-focused businesses and innovators, including her recent role as counsel for products and partnerships at Formally, where she developed legal strategies to support immigration tech. She’ll be based in San Francisco, helping grow our already thriving startup immigration practice.

Founded in December 2009 by Fiona McEntee in a humble Lakeview apartment with a Regus Center mailing address, McEntee Law began with zero clients but a vast vision. Fiona leveraged her networking prowess and connections in the music industry to niche the firm in music visas, marking the Coronas as their first music client. The firm’s journey saw a significant leap when Ray, Fiona’s brother, joined in 2014, transitioning from a solo practice to a growing team passionate about immigration law. Over the years, McEntee Law has expanded its team, moving from makeshift office setups to becoming a staple in the 2112 entrepreneurial hub. Today, McEntee Law prides itself on a supportive culture, a dedicated team, and a relentless pursuit of helping clients achieve their American Dream, embodying the essence of a family-founded firm that has grown to make a significant impact.
