ONLY AT MILWAUKEE IRISH FEST
We're ecstatic to share details about a unique showcase that patrons can look forward to next month. The Celtic World Showcase will highlight artists who continue centuries-old musical traditions while shaping modern global music and feature performers from Scotland, Canada, Japan, Ireland, France, and Italy.

It is estimated that there are over 100 million people across the world who claim they have descended from the Celts, the Iron Age people who inhabited large areas of Western Europe.  Sharing languages and cultural similarities, the folk and traditional music of these Celts evolved over time and became integral to their communities. The music of these territories has traveled around the globe, and we are thrilled to bring the music to Milwaukee in August.

Take a look at the Celtic World Showcase performers and be sure to check out their shows throughout the festival! Schedule Here!

Doolin’ (France)
The East Pointers (Canada)

The Gaeltacht, or Irish speaking area, showcases the Irish language and traditional Irish culture. From sean-nós singing with Caitlín Ní Chualáin to Oireachtas shows hosted by Ray Mac Mánais, there's no shortage of singing, dancing, storytelling, Irish humor and immersive opportunities!

Scholarship Opportunity
The Taylor Force Memorial "Force for Good" is a scholarship from Hero Hut that will be awarded to a veteran transitioning out of the military who is looking to further their career goals either through attending an institution of higher education, completing a trade school/course or obtaining professional certification.

The scholarship will be awarded in memory of Taylor Force, an Army Veteran who was tragically killed in 2016 during a school-sponsored trip for Vanderbilt University graduate students to learn about startup companies overseas.

Please apply by August 1, 2024, to be considered for the scholarship.

The winner of the scholarship will be honored at Milwaukee Irish Fest in August during a special presentation.
