Two Amazing Irish Bands will be in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Area in February and March

Presented by the Iowa Irish Fest

To highlight and promote Irish culture throughout the community, Iowa Irish Fest and the Cedar Valley Irish Cultural Association will present two Irish musical concerts during the winter months. Their goal is to bring in bands directly from Ireland and have them perform in various venues around the Cedar Valley. This series will present two amazing bands seen at past Iowa Irish Fests, Colm & Laura Keegan and Onóir. Both have performed at past Iowa Irish Fests and are developing a strong following in the area.

Come out and join the fun at the Cedar Falls Oster Regent Theatre on Saturday, March 15th for an amazing St. Patrick's Day Celebration, with music by the wonderful Irish group, Onóir.

After making their U.S. debut at the Iowa Irish Fest in 2024, Onóir is returning to Iowa to play their first ever U.S. Theatre show in the beautiful Oster Regent Theatre in Cedar Falls. This performance will be a part of the group’s Spring 2025 tour in the United States.

Onóir is a modern Irish male folk group, who sing harmony-focused songs and musical arrangements. Formed in August of 2020, when four Donegal-based musicians; Tom McHugh, Declan Gaughan, Deane Connaghan, and Diarmaid McGee, joined forces to create a contemporary version of the famous Irish folk ballad; “The Auld Triangle”.

Doors open at 6:15pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm.

Tickets for both events are available online through the Iowa Irish Fest Facebook events page or on the Irish Fest website at www.IowaIrishFest.com. Winterfest Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the show.
