By Randall Stephen Hall.
You don't have to be big
To be a hero.
You just need compassion.
To see that love's a round zero.
By rounding the circle
And reaching for peace.
To fight the blue demons
And bring down the beast.
You don't have to be loud
You just need composure.
To be clearly spoken
When looking for closure.
To stand out from the crowd
Speak calmly in black.
Just go stand your ground.
No need to attack.
You just need some vision
Like the Kennedys and King.
To find all the words
That make meaning sing.
To be a risk taker
To not think of yourself.
You don't need any suit
With sincerity's wealth.
No need to be Apha
That's only a crutch.
To intelligent people
It doesn't mean very much.
To be a real hero
You don't smash up the store.
Just go speak your truth
For you'll never need more.
May the Road rise upĀ
