Nimble Thimbles Help Santa
For the fourth year in a row, the Nimble Thimbles sewing group is making Christmas stockings for overseas military personnel.
They will be donated to Operation Support Our Troops out of Naperville, Illinois.
The stockings will be filled with small items, like personal needs and snacks.
If you would like to join Nimble Thimbles and contribute with your time and skills, they meet Tuesday and/or Saturday mornings at the Center,, for quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, needlepoint and tatting. Call the Center at 773-282-7035, x10, and leave a message for Nimble Thimbles.
