The Avery Coonley School announces its partnership with the Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University
Downers Grove, IL - This year, The Avery Coonley School is excited to announce its partnership with the Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University to bring in-person Weekend Enrichment Programs to their campus.

The Avery Coonley School’s mission to serve academically gifted and talented students is a perfect fit for the goals of CTD’s Weekend Enrichment Program. Starting this fall, their high-quality and engaging courses for gifted learners will be offered at The Avery Coonley School campus, providing more opportunities for families in the western suburbs of Chicago to connect with CTD.

Courses are offered in Arts and Humanities, English and Language Arts, Leadership and Service, Mathematics, Science, and Technology and Engineering.

For these kids, “tell me more” goes to their core! Through hands-on learning experiences, knowledgeable educators work with students to develop independent and collaborative problem-solving skills. Additionally, students build relationships with peers who share their interests. Weekend Enrichment courses are a wonderful way to foster their academic passions. As the program continues to grow, CTD and ACS look forward to creating more opportunities for the community.

The in-person courses at Avery Coonley School are available for students in Pre-K through Grade 8 and will run from Saturday, October 9th, to Saturday, November 13th, 2021. To learn more and apply, please visit https://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/weekend-programs.
