It's with heavy heart we inform you that Mickey Rahilly (aka "Magic Feet") so well-loved by everyone at FON, died July 3, 2019.

Of course, we will remember him for his humor, his love of all things Kerry, his famous battering steps, his hair and beard shaving for St. Baldrick's, his Buck Set dancing, and him teaching his grandchildren and great grandchildren to perform the Brush Dance for us during Tea Time. He's probably doing some shenanigans at the Upstairs Ceili right now.

"The death has occurred of Mickey Rahilly
Knockacorrin, Currow, Kerry / Scartaglen, Kerry / Cork / Mayo

Peacefully, in his 84th year at his home in Chicago in the tender care of his loving family. Late of Chicago, Illonois, USA and formerly of Knockacorrin, Currow, Co. Kerry. Predeceased by his wife Maureen, brothers Jack, Dan and Denis, sisters Sr. Peg, Sr. Noreen and Kit.

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Mary-Teresa, Cathy and Eileen, son John, son-in-law Richard and daughter-in-law Cindy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Mary (O'Neill, Mayo) and Sheila (Murphy, Castleisland), sister-in-law Mary (Rahilly, Knockacorrin) and Nelly (Rahilly, Chicago), brothers-in-law Martin (O'Neill, Mayo), Malachy Gallagher (Chicago) and Martin Murphy (Castleisland), nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends in Chicago and Ireland.

May he rest in peace

Cremation will take place in Chicago. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen."
