Confirmed US Tour Dates for Summer 2008 Include NYC's Governor's Island and Two Nights at the Milwaukee Irish Fest

Legendary Irish Supergroup The Saw Doctors were presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2008 Meteor Ireland Music Awards in celebration of their illustrious career in the Irish music industry. The Saw Doctors are this year celebrating over 20 years in the music business, having achieved international acclaim across the globe with classic hits such as ‘N17' and ‘I Useta Love Her', which holds the record for Ireland's biggest selling single of all time and the number one chart position for nine consecutive weeks.

Previous recipients of the award include The Pogues, Clannad, and Bob Geldof.
