Acappellago, an adult volunteer a cappella chamber choir performing in the western suburbs will be holding auditions, by appointment, for new singers for its seventh season during July and August. Auditions are open to tenors and basses. Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 14, 2008, at 6 pm in Naperville.

Acappellago is rapidly developing a reputation for presenting rarely heard, yet audience friendly a cappella music. The seventh season will include two performances of Escape to…The Mystery of Christmas, which will be presented on December 6 and 7, 2008 and two performances of Escape to…Broadway, on March 28 and 29, 2008. Performances are held at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook and the Naperville Congregational Church. Other 2008-2009 performances will include an appearance at the Museum of Science and Industry's "Christmas around the World", a benefit recital on March 14, 2009, and National Anthem performances at sporting events in the summer.
