The City of San Antonio, Texas has been growing in Irish awareness over the past several years and some of the events that are planned for later this month include at Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Stew Cookoff including music and dance.  The Harp and Shamrock Society of Texas will hold their installation of officers on Friday, September 24 at Little Italy Restaurant located at 802 Afterglow Street. Terry Peak will replace Joan Moody as president.
