Will reopen June 29 and play through September 15, 2018
By Cliff Carlson
Let's keep this simple. The Buddy Holly Story delivers. The Chicago theatre community delivers. The acting, dancing, musicianship, and singing are mostly terrific, and Zachary Stevenson steals the show with an eerily charismatic portrayal of Buddy Holly during his meteoric rise to fame.
This musical delivers on all fronts. Just pay the price and go see it! And take someone with you. You'll have a great time. I'll be surprised it this play is not extended past the May 26 deadline, but just in case - go see it now!
