Kevin Henry, our 89 years young Irish Musician, was honored recently at Chicago Gaelic Park.
Some 200 people came out to pay tribute to and honor Kevin, and enjoy some great, live Irish music
Kevin has been a long time fixture on the Chicagoland music scene and is revered for his ability, and his demeanor!
Former President of Gaelic Park, John Devitt, gave a moving tribute to Kevin with no notes!
Thank you to the musicians and ceoltoiri Chicago band, and especially the Gavin Family who came from Detroit and all those in attendance for coming out on such a cold day. Because of them a donation of $1,000 was made to the Devin Shepherd School of Music.
